A Warm Welcome

Thanks to the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All Scotland, hall users should now always find a warm welcome when using the Community Hall.  The gas boiler that served Hall One was becoming increasingly unreliable, difficult to maintain and expensive to operate.  The Hall’s Management Board decided that the boiler should be replaced and an application was made to Awards for All Scotland for a grant towards the cost of a new system.  Awards for All kindly met the application in full and a new Worcester Bosch boiler was installed on the 4^th August 2015.  As the cost of heating is one of the largest items of expenditure from our limited funds, we are looking forward to smaller gas bills this winter, a very reliable heating system and to offering a warm and welcoming venue for all the groups that use the halls.
